Home MTC...Let's fly the coop!

February 13th, 2023----Zoom, Pack, Zoom, Pack in a temple trip or two with my bother Adam and parents. Meeting my zone from all over the globe. Learning that getting up at 6:30 isn't so bad when there are Elders in New Zealand getting up to be on zoom in the middle of the night. Getting an extra week to see my brother Wyatt "in person". Getting to say good-bye in person to Livy and Andrew. Snuggling with Ezra. Ice Cream with my best next door neighbor Virginia. And one last visit with my good friend Allie Mae Posselli at the assisted living center. A few other hugs from friends made this week a perfect transition into missionary life. Most days were filled with learning in three-to-four-hour blocks, personal and companion scripture study, a little time to exercise and dinner with mom and dad. Adam is sulking around the house and my mom heard him say "I guess it's going to be just me here again, how boring". My mom made me an MTC sign leading into the room I was doing home zoom MTC in. It surprised me as I rounded the corner the first day. Goodbye Bountiful!
