Miracles 

Crazy cool miracles have been happening. When I served down in the Lathrop area there was a day where I felt very strongly about going to a potential referral location. We were going to be late for another appointment if we did.  However, the spirit directed, and we listened. The referral ended up not being at home, but we did talk to a YSA aged girl while that was outside the apartment we had tried knocking at. It was a brief contact. We shared our purpose and asked if we could set up a return appointment. She wasn't open to it.  We gave her a social media card and she told us that we had made her day by simply acknowledging her and saying “Hi”. Fast forward almost 5 months later. We're walking on campus and this girl comes up and is like" Oh my gosh how are you? How have you been?" I knew her from somewhere but could not place where.  We began talking to her while I was trying to place her.  She was super open because she knew us, and we were able to have it on the spot Bible study right then.  We set up a return appointment and now we're teaching her. On the second appointment we had the Member with us ask her how she knew us. She described the interaction that afternoon in Lathrop when she was taking out the trash. It dawned on me. That moment was the reason, 5 months ago we were led to a referral so that 5 months later Kayla would be more receptive to the gospel. It grew my testimony that God loved Kayla so much so individually and so personally that he sent me to Lathrop, and he also sent me to Stockton for her. God truly is an individual God, and he loves her so much. It's another reason that God's timing is perfect, it another reason I had to go home for a time so that I could be here at this time.... who knows?  I know that God has a great and grand plan!

Praying for Charity 

Talking to everyone has brought me so much Joy!!!! Sister Richens and I really enjoy it! We’ve been praying for charity, and it has made all the difference! I no longer want to talk to everyone because it's what I'm supposed to do, but rather because I see someone and realize that they may not know what it's like to always have the Holy ghost. They may not know what it's like to have answers to their questions, it makes my soul ache. I find myself walking up to them without even thinking about it. I find myself preaching and teaching and listening to them. I have Love and charity towards them. I have labored all my days trying to bring save it be one soul to Christ. Who is the one who redeems mine and other’s souls from hell?  From physical death and hopefully spiritual death if they let themselves be saved and repent. 

It is short and sweet today.  We still have no car and that is a real trial in an area like Stockton.  It is still in the shop.  It was supposed to be a week maybe a two week fix and they are now saying it could be another few weeks.  If you see the missionaries out, offer a ride!
