MTC or Bust! Even in a terrible snowstorm.

February 22, 2023---It was a winter storm warning the day I left for the MTC. So many accidents on the freeway on the way to the MTC but we kept going. My check in time was between 1:00 - 1:30 pm. We stopped across the street at the temple to take a few pictures.... who doesn't do that though right? It was a slow day at the MTC which was a blessing because I was able to take my time saying good-bye to my parents. Funny story the Sister Missionary that was there to greet me was named Sister Pickup! A little on the ironic side if you ask me. I was also pulling up right behind my friend Sister Sumsion. A few tears were shed but after big hugs I was on my way.
